IoT devices are potential back doors to enterprise networks, yet many devices employ minimal security provisions and remain potential threats to the organization and individual. The USSP platform was designed from the ground up with security being the foundation of our design and offers a comprehensive approach to protecting data and preventing malicious access to corporate networks.
Security
- The USSP platform and protocol is AES 256 compliant. Data is encrypted from the point of capture throughout the transmission channel until it is decrypted by the IoT Client. AES 256 is considered one of the top encryption ciphers and is used extensively in the intelligence communities, the military and businesses in highly regulated industries.
- Our operating system is programmed directly on USSP firmware which significantly improves network and device security.
- USSP enables over-the-air (OTA) programming, remote upgrades and device management.
Data Integrity
- The USSP mesh network and closed-hardware transmission design prevents new software from being injected into devices along the transmission channel eliminating the threat of viruses, malware and ransomware.
- The USSP mesh network design ensures no single point of failure along the transmission path, providing the highest level of redundancy and recoverability for sensor data.
- The USSP Protocol uses a 4-Phase Commit Strategy ensuring all data is delivered accurately down to the last byte.
