Extended Wireless Range

The most common Local Area Network (LAN) protocols are Wi-Fi and Bluetooth with transmission ranges of 150 ft - 300ft. For larger requirements (10 - 20 miles) the most common Wide Area Network (WAN) protocol is LoRaWAN.  The USSP protocol is a fully secured Mid-Range protocol with a 1/2-mile (line-of-site) transmission range and the ability of extending to 20 miles while providing superior security, power management and bandwidth capabilities than what is provifed provided by LoRaWAN.

  • The USSP Protocol does not interfere with devices using other protocols such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, ZigBee, LoRaWAN or with other sensor platforms.
  • The USSP Protocol was developed 15 years and is a proven wireless protocol for mission critical applications.
  • USSP Gateways supports all standard backhaul communication protocols including Wi-Fi, cellular, satellite, or landline Ethernet to the Internet.
